The POA are entitled to send 10 delegates to the TUC Disabled Worker’s Conference which will be held at The Bournemouth International Centre from 19th - 20th May 2026.

The POA are entitled to send 10 delegates to the TUC Black Worker’s Conference which will be held at The Bournemouth International Centre in Bournemouth from 24th -26th April 2026. 

Please note the Women TUC Conference 2026 will be held at the Bournemouth International Centre from 4 – 6 March 2026 and not Congress House as stated in POA Circular 064/2025 dated 2 October 2025. Sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

The POA are entitled to send 10 delegates to the Women’s TUC Conference which will be held at Congress House in London.

The POA was proudly represented at the Black Workers’ Conference organised by the Trade Union Congress (TUC).

It was a pleasure to have a delegation of six people attend the TUC LGBT+ conference.

Representing over 30,000 Prison, Correctional and Secure Psychiatric Workers, the POA is the largest UK Union in this sector, able to trace its roots back more than 100 years.
