The POA is seeking delegates to attend the following TUC Equality Conferences 2025.

The city was awash with colour and noise as the LGBTQ+ community – including POA members – took to the streets for their annual celebration

 

Attending Manchester Pride 2024 was a powerful reminder of how far the LGBTQ+ community has come in the fight for acceptance and equality

 

The above workshop will be held from Tuesday 19 – Thursday 21 November 2024 at the Quorn Grange Hotel, Wood Lane, Quorn, Loughborough.

The TUC is running some introductory courses for Black union members which are free, online, open to any Black member of a TUC affiliated union.

The POA is looking for delegates to attend the following TUC Equality Conferences 2024.

The Conference opened with Maria Exall the first out LGBT+ President of the TUC welcoming all delegates telling them that she wanted the Conference to have an “atmosphere of learning”.

 

Representing over 30,000 Prison, Correctional and Secure Psychiatric Workers, the POA is the largest UK Union in this sector, able to trace its roots back more than 100 years.
