On the 21st January 2020 the POA promulgated POA Circular 05/2020 with reference to the above, stating that the Survey will run from Monday 27th January 2020 until Sunday 23rd February 2020.

In January 2020 a Joint Agreement on Offences Against Emergency Workers was agreed. The signatories to this Agreement include Phil Coppell HMPPS, NHS England, National Fire Chiefs Council, the National Police Chiefs Council and the CPS.
