CIRC 64: WELFARE FUND TO SUPPORT POA MEMBERS – COVID 19

We are pleased to announce that the Welfare Fund have agreed to cover the accommodation costs of any POA member who accesses the Center Parcs accommodation scheme. POA members can now be reassured that they have a safe place to live during the COVID -19 outbreak if they have concerns about family members at home. This agreement will be reviewed every two weeks to account for any changes to lockdown procedures that allow businesses to re-open.

Any POA member who cannot access this scheme due to geographical issues should note that the following link allows access to discounted rooms for Key Workers with Premier Inn, 37 hotels are currently open for sale for the exclusive use of key workers. https://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/covid-19/key-workers.html.

If you are unable to access Center Parcs but need to book accommodation, either with Premier Inn or any other Hotel via the links included in this Circular, please ensure you submit a welfare fund application form from your local POA committee. Every application to cover costs via this facility will be considered.
