CIRC 101: INITIAL BRANCH OFFICIALS TRAINING (BOT): 17–20 FEB 2025 - QUORN GRANGE HOTEL – LOUGHBOROUGH

As you are aware the NEC are committed to the continued training and development of local Branch Officials.

The Training Committee are seeking applications for the next Initial Branch Officials Training course on Monday 17 – Thursday 20 February 2025  (inclusive) at the Quorn Grange Hotel in Loughborough.

Accommodation will be arranged centrally for successful candidates. If accommodation is cancelled by the individual at short notice without good reason and the space cannot be filled, then charges for that accommodation may be directed to the individual or branch. So please make sure when you apply to attend the course that you understand the consequence of non-attendance. In the past the POA have written those costs off and we cannot continue to do so as it is not fair on the wider membership and indeed those officials who do wish to attend the course but cannot do so at short notice.

Please complete the attached pro-forma and return it to Angela Sinclair, Senior Office Administrator – asone@poauk.org.uk  no later than 12noon Wednesday 15 January 2025.

Facility time will be applied for centrally via Employee Relations or your HR Department for successful candidates. It is advisable to alert your Line Manager and Detail Office that you have applied for this  Initial BOT Course in order that arrangements can be made.
