CIRC 023: PRISON OFFICER GRADES: DO YOU FEEL YOU MATTER?

We have been contacted by Anya Frude who is a Forensic Psychology doctoral researcher at the University of Birmingham. Please see her request below.

Our 2023 University of Birmingham research study aims to explore whether you, as prison officer grades, feel you matter! A sense of feeling we ‘matter’ at work has proven links to feeling satisfied and feeling less stressed in our working roles. Prison officer grades’ experiences of ‘mattering’ have not yet been studied. 

This research has some potentially important implications for practice and research. As such, we would welcome your contribution to this study, consisting of an online survey, expected to take between 20-30 minutes of your time.
