TUC ONE DAY CONFERENCE ON ASBESTOS & WEEK OF ACTION OVER TOILETS

The TUC is hosting a one-day conference on asbestos on Monday 28th April, which will centre on driving forward our campaign for removal.
The afternoon will also include workshops for health and safety reps, run by TUC tutors.

It would be great to have some POA reps in attendance.

Also, the TUC are currently running a Week of Action over toilets, encouraging health and safety reps to collectively carry out an inspection. They’ll get all the resources they need, and we’ll be keeping it running beyond this weekend so any time in the next few weeks and reps will still get the accreditation.

Representing over 30,000 Prison, Correctional and Secure Psychiatric Workers, the POA is the largest UK Union in this sector, able to trace its roots back more than 100 years.
