CIRC 017: THE LATE ANDY HOGG - HONORARY LIFE MEMBER

It is with great sadness we report to the membership the death of Honorary Life Member Andy Hogg, who passed away on Sunday 9 March following a short illness.

Andy became an Honorary Life Member in 2022. Andy was a Full Time Officer from 2010 until his retirement in 2020.  He was employed as a Prison Officer by the Scottish Prison Service from 1987 until 1999. He then took up the post of Trade Union Side Secretary from 1999 until 2010.

Andy was a well-respected national official of the POA, and he will be sorely missed.

We are sure the membership would wish to offer sincere condolences to his family, friends and former colleagues at this sad time.
