POA CIRC 001: TUC LGBT+ CONFERENCE – 25TH - 26TH JUNE 2026 THE DOUBLETREE BY HILTON METROPOLE, BRIGHTON

The POA are entitled to send 10 delegates to the TUC LGBT+ Conference which will be held at The Doubletree by Hilton Metropole, Brighton. Three of our delegates will be National Officials namely Mark Fairhurst National Chair, Sarah Rigby Assistant General Secretary and Angela Montgomery, Assistant General Secretary. The other 7 delegates will be members from the field.

Accommodation and T&S will be met by the POA, this is deemed to be a trade union activity and as such does not automatically qualify for paid time off so members may be required to attend in their own time.

To express an interest in attending you will need to complete the attached form and return it to Isil Pekoz - isil@poauk.org.uk. It is essential that if you are selected as a delegate, you must attend due to the POA paying accommodation and T&S. Failure to attend without good reason may result in your branch being charged or you as an individual for any costs incurred by the POA. Therefore, please ensure when applying, you are available to attend on the dates specified above. The closing date for expressions of interest is 20^th February 2026.
