CIRC 030: ANNUAL CONFERENCE MOTION 86/2025 SIMPSON HOUSE

Following the adoption of Annual Conference Motion 86/2025.

“That Linden House is renamed Simpson House in memory of Joe Simpson previous Deputy General Secretary.”

I am delighted to inform you that the renaming to Simpson House is now complete at Land Registry and Title Deeds.

Therefore, the new address for POA North Regional Office is:

Simpson House

1 Linden House

Sardinia Street

Leeds

LS10 1BH

This renaming recognises Joe’s outstanding service, unwavering commitment, and positive impact he made on our union and its members throughout his years as a member, Branch and National Official.

A formal opening of Simpson House will occur on Wednesday 6 May 2026 followed by a social event in Leeds City Centre. All members/retired members are invited to attend the renaming ceremony as we come together to celebrate Joe’s legacy and pay tribute to a life lived with integrity, solidarity, and dedication to the values we share.

We hope you will join us in honouring Joe’s memory.
